This classic marine-grade passageway light features industrial quality design & non-corrosive solid bronze construction. The most popular lamp in our bronze lighting collection, this architectural salvage sconce has all the character you would want from a vintage nautical light and none of the headaches. We not only add UL listed sockets, but we UL list the entire fixture so it will pass code & install with ease. One of our most versatile lights, the B-1B can be used anywhere from dock lighting to nautical vanity lights to industrial bunk scones and more.

The most traditional of all our lights, this bulkhead lamp combines the design of an industrial light fixture with a nautical durability that the Navy would be proud of. Sometimes used as utility lighting, Shiplights B-1B has been compared to the Urban Archaeology backbay wall mount, Carson nautical sconce, Hudson Valley Groton Light, Rejuvenation Tolson cage wall Sconce and Restoration Hardware Starboard Sconce. Recent installations include projects in Montauk NY, Siesta Key FL and Bar Harbor, ME.

Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
