Shiplights C-7tub is designed to be used anywhere, from an outdoor porch to kitchen to study. Whether it’s being used indoors or outdoors, each part is constructed with solid brass components to ensure that the fixture will never rust or corrode. And because we know that every project is different, every stem is individually cut to the exact specifications of each installation (now available with sloped ceiling bracket). Our galley inspired light has been compared to the UA Wharf Light, Starboard Pendant and Station pendant. We recently added the option of a solid brass cage for a more authentic nautical design. Recent installations include private residences in Westhampton Beach, NY , Abaco and Vineyard Haven, MA.
Lead Time: Standard finishes are typically in-stock; Custom finishes are 4-8 weeks unless in-stock (contact us for our list of in-stock custom finishes). Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
