Socket: Medium (E26) Base (Default) or Candelabra (E12) Base (Accepts LED & Incandescent Bulbs) ; Dimmable ; Standard 110v
- Medium base: Standard socket size, can accommodate 100w LED equivalent (it’s tight) and provides more flexibility regarding bulb choices. Due to the fixture’s size, this socket takes up more space inside the fixture so there tends to be a shady spot where the socket is located. Unfortunately, the only remedy for this is switching to the candelabra socket.
- Candelabra (Small) base: Can accommodate up to a 60w LED equivalent (they will most likely come out with higher wattage options at some point). The socket itself is much smaller so it doesn’t take up as much space inside the fixture and therefore does not create the same ‘shady’ spot.
Glass: Clear Ribbed or Frosted Ribbed Glass
Options: On/Off Switch (+$35); Larger sizes (F-2,3), Without Wingnuts (WF-5) and Caged Versions Available (O-1)

This modern light comes standard in unlacquered brass, and is also available in polished nickel, oil rubbed bronze and more. It’s similar to the Davey oval bulkhead cage sconce, but we’ve removed the cast brass cage for a more industrial look. Like all our lights, our F-1 comes UL listed and includes a 4.5” solid brass backplate that will attach and cover a standard box. Recent installations include the new Pier 17 Seaport (NYC) and Two Bunch Palms Resort (Desert Springs, CA).
Lead Time: Standard finishes are typically in-stock; Custom finishes are 4-8 weeks unless in-stock (contact us for our list of in-stock custom finishes). Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
