Our H-1 is a great example of a traditional nautical light. Whether it’s indoors or outdoors, this weather-proof light fixture can be used in a variety of applications including docks, piers and marinas. Its durable design was inspired by the great historic US Navy manufacturers of yesteryear. The unlacquered brass version was recently used at the American Yacht Club (Rye, NY), while custom finished versions were used at the Woodway Country Club in Darien, CT (satin nickel finish) and at the Greenwich Country Club (in oil rubbed bronze finish). This non-corrosive dock light can be compared to the Ship’s Passagway Light, Compton light, Groton Light, RH Starboard Sconce with shade, RH Harbor Sconce and Tolston Light.

Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
