A nautical interpretation of a classic opal schoolhouse sconce. We combined marine-grade brass and a US made, thick milk glass shade to create this popular wall sconce. Our H-12 comes standard with a 6” glass shade but is also available in other sizes (10”, 12”, etc). Recent installations include Sadelles Restaurant in New York as well as homes in San Francisco, CA, Falmouth, MA and Chevy Chase, MD.
Lead Time: Standard finishes are typically in-stock; Custom finishes are 4-8 weeks unless in-stock (contact us for our list of in-stock custom finishes). Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
