Shiplights interpretation of the traditional industrial flush mount, our NC-1 is constructed using durable solid brass components. We removed the cage on our traditional bulkhead lights to create this modern flush mount that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Our UL approved light fixture comes ready to attach and cover a standard US junction box and can be used as a wall, ceiling or post mount. Recent installations include projects in East Hampton, NY , Oak Bluffs, MA and Block Island.
Lead Time: Standard finishes are typically in-stock; Custom finishes are 4-8 weeks unless in-stock (contact us for our list of in-stock custom finishes). Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
