Shiplights original marine passage-way light is made of a solid bronze that will not rust or corrode. This vintage nautical sconce has all the uniqueness one would expect with architectural salvage, but none of the headaches. We do recommend using a wooden bock for installation as they’re heavy and made to last for generations. The durability of this nautical dock light is truly unparalleled. Our B-1L is also available with a heavy-duty bronze junction box and copper hood upon request. Recent installations of the Bronze Starboard Sconce can be seen at Vineyard Vines Retail Stores and private homes in Sag Harbor, NY and Fire Island.

Material: Solid Bronze Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
