Our non-corrosive weatherproof sconce can be used both inside and outside; and will never rust when used in extreme coastal environments. It features a solid brass horizontal eyelid shield, thick prismatic frosted glass and a streamlined industrial design. This solid brass oval bulkhead sconce also provides downlight or pathway lighting and is ideal for use on docks, piers and any salt air rich environment. Although we prepare all our lighting for standard J-box installations, we can offer alternative mounting options (including conduit ready). We also can now add a custom on/off switch for nautical / industrial bunk lighting. Our O-6 is compared to the Original BTC oval bulkhead eyelid outdoor wall light, Davey oval bulkhead outdoor wall sconce and DWR oval bulkhead sconce. Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
