The unlacquered brass finish coupled with clear glass offers a truly authentic nautical replica light. However, by changing the finish to polished chrome or nickel, the light becomes the perfect contemporary / industrial sconce. This versatile fixture can be used anywhere, from a shower light to nautical bunk sconce (w/ custom on/off switch) to industrial ceiling lighting and more. It has been compared to the Tortuga round transitional wall sconce, 7027 brass bulkhead fitting, mariner wall light and the marine cover light by Urban Archaeology. Installations include the Tonight Show Dressing Rooms and Freehand Hotel (NYC) as well as private residences in East Hampton, NY, Block Island, RI and Ventura, CA.

Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
