By combining design elements, our R-11 is an industrial wall light and nautical sconce in one! It adds a modern art deco flair to the durability of solid marine-grade brass. Unlike most industrial-themed lights that are aluminum (and then plated), our round bulkhead sconce is solid brass – meaning that it will not rust or corrode over time. Not all lights are created equal, especially when used by the ocean or in salt-rich environments. Additionally, it comes UL listed for both interior and exterior use; and is now available with of an on/off switch to create a classic industrial bunk sconce. Comparisons are made to the DWR Round Bulkhead Light, Rejuvenation 9″ Seabeck Halflid Round with Cage Bulkhead Sconce and Davey Brass Bulkhead with Eyelid. Installations of this art deco light (include the Blue Fin Restaurant in Times Square, Thompson Hotel (Nashville, TN) and private homes in Naperville IL, Bristol RI and East Sound WA.

Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
