Depending on the finish, this bulkhead sconce can be characterized as a nautical ceiling light, an industrial sconce or a modern flush mount. It features marine-grade cast brass and comes with a rubber gasket to create a watertight seal. Most importantly, it always come UL listed, suitable for wet locations. Our B-3 is now available with an on/off switch for the perfect nautical bunk bed lighting. Installations include the Ft Lauderdale Yacht Club (Bar Ceiling Fixtures), Kips Bay Decorators Show House, the Big Game Resort (originally Guy Harvey) in Bimini, Bahamas and the Soundview Inn (Greenport, NY). Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
